Background of the Study
Radio journalism remains one of the most influential mediums for disseminating information in rural and semi-urban areas, particularly in regions like Gusau Local Government Area (LGA), Zamfara State. With its ability to reach diverse audiences regardless of literacy levels, radio serves as a critical tool for addressing societal issues, including gender inequality. Gender inequality remains a pressing concern in Gusau LGA, where traditional and cultural norms often limit women's access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
